I've been in a relationship for 2 years now. I found out my guy masturbates 3
times a day. he lied about it the first year and finally he admitted it. He says
he's been doing it for over 30 years.Why would he feel the need to masturbate when he
has a woman that loves having sex, would give it to him as many times as he wanted.
I love sex myself but masturbation to me is so empty, no phyical contact and an
empty cum. please guys tell me whats up with this. I feel I'm not good enough, my
self esteem is gone. I get angry when I found he has masturbated in the car or
bathroom.

Don't blame yourself. It's a compulsive male masturbation disorder problem, he is a person
without self control and addicted in this respect. I'm not a doctor but, I know in my case
I use to be the same way in my younger days. It's a hard habit to break. But I learned out of respect and love for my
patner to wait to have sexual intercourse with her.
Compulsive masturbation disorder addiction, like all other compulsive behaviors, is a symptom of an emotional problem and needs
to be addressed by a mental health specialist.
It's a good idea for him or both of you to see a therapist.

I just caught my husband masterbating in the dark while sitting at his
computer at 2AM. I later learned in talking with him that he does this often and
sometimes while looking at porn. I was very upset. I don't have a problem when he
needs to masterbate while I'm at work, but like you, there's something wrong when
I'm waiting for him to come to bed and he's having sex with himself or while looking
at something that's not real. I always thought we had a good sex life, but now I
realize we don't have it nearly as much as we could because he's worn himself out
minutes before coming to bed. I was humiliated, and felt rejected, like I was no
longer his only sex partner, that he had the option of making love to himself or to
me, to getting it on with an inanimate object or me. He claims he does it several
times a day and that most men do. We've been together for over 16 years. Is he being
disrespectful, inconsiderate, un-loving? He finds no reason to appologize for his
actions. I'm not angry that he masterbates... it's what men do. I'm just hurt that he
did it when he could easily have been with me.

Regarding the letter on the boyfriend who is compulsive, I have found myself
in the same situation with my boyfriend. He masturbates to porn at least 3-6
days a week, we don't even have sex that often! He doesn't see it as a
problem and that I shouldn't be bothered by it. I don't understand why he would
rather do that than have sex with me! I've tried to talk with him about it but
he gets very defensive.

the average male masterbates 4-7 times a week. 3-6 is not alot !
My current partner, a 26 year old male, can go on and on and on for literally 2 (and more) hours (I'm a very lucky woman, I suppose). On the contrary, last night we were in the middle of play and he went limp.
He is sick right now, so maybe that has something to do with it, but I was wondering
if too much masturbation can cause a man to either go forever (like training) or, on
the contrary, limpen (due to fatigue?). I know he's a daily kind-of-fellow, and I'm
thinking that perhaps too much play will have some kind of effect....
