My husband has not been able to get an erection in at least the
last 5+ years.He was telling me that he didn't "want to". However, he smoked since he was 11 and now is 56, and
has emphysema, heart disease and a quadruple bypass last year. He would never tell the doctor about it until a new dr.
asked him about it last year. He was supposed to go to a urologist a few months after his bypass, but has yet to do so,
saying its "too soon". He apparently is afraid sex will kill him, but is not worried that smoking will!
From the symptoms, I think he may have a venous leakage problem,
as his penis gets a partial erection, but it seems to be on one side and there is what may be a blockage on the other side. Its hard to explain.
