I am now 65 years old and at 58, I contracted penile
Peyronie's Disease (PD) curvature/bending of
the genital.
All reports that I have read indicate that it is caused by PHYSICAL trauma at some stage in life, which could be from
infancy to a recent period of diagnosis.
Peyronies Diseases Follow Ups:
I have a friend who suffers from this genital bending disease and he is only 61 years old. This started about one year ago. He feels very self consious about it and he can't enjoy sex like he used to. He has been to a Urologist a few times and is told that there is nothing that can be done right now.
I would appreciate it emmensely if you would please, write to me and let me know how you got over this disease so that I can let my friend know that there is hope for him, please.
God bless you and may you enjoy your life free from this disease.

I am 61 year old with symptoms of peyrones curvature disease which I have had for over 3 years and the condition is no better or no worse.
I have no pain associated with it. I have had a history of very high chlorestrol for a number of years.
Would this cause peyrones? Also, my bloodwork indicated that my blood clots too quickly.
Could that be a factor? Take elevil and niaspan prescription drugs...could these affect this problem?

I have had PD for over 5 years, at first it bent at a 45 degree, but after it stopped getting as hard it
did not hurt as much, I have tried low DC voltage vitamin E, A and C nothing seems to work.
I am now 52 and would appreciate trying anything but surgery. e-mail stan@whosereality,com

I went to a doctor at the VA and he said I might have this disease. I don't have any curvature but I do feel hardness along the urine tract and pain with an erection. what do you think?

Unfortunately folks there is no perfect cure. I also suffer from peyrones. Take lots of vitamin "e", avoid aggressive sex and try to eat healthy. My urologist says there is a lot of research, but nothing definitive. Most "hardness on top of the genital shaft", usually goes away in two to three years. Do not listen or prescibe to phony bullshit! There is NO cureall!
