"HVP Genital Warts Infection At Risk Virus Exposure"

My girlfriend of six months just informed me she had genital warts virus infection 25 years ago but was treated for them. We have been sexually intimate for the last six months. She said she has had not recurrence of warts and has had normal pap smears ever since. She said I could not get them at this point, but I wonder about the exposure.
