For a long time I've masturbated to climax in a very different manner than most guys. When I feel aroused, before I get an penile erection, I lay on my stomach, place my hands so that the palms face toward me and the thumb of one hand applies pressure to the very base of my penis, with the penis pointing towards my legs, flaccid. This gives me fairly intense stimulation and I feel the climax in a couple minutes and stop. The pressure keeps me flaccid throughout. I believe that this is proiding some kind of direct stimulation, but the problem is that I'm nervous it will cause impotence or somehow affect "the real thing."

I get penile erections when I watch sex movies or think about sexual intercourse, and my penis is of average size. I am a virgin, but I shouldn't be. On one occasion, I failed to obtain a full penile erection. I think it was a nervousness/lack of confidence issue. I keep thinking that my masturbation caused the impotence, (and it may in fact be doing so merely by making me doubt myself.)

So, basically:
-Can my usual penile masturbation practice cause impotence?
If I can acheive an penile erection and climax ejaculation fluid when alone, may I still have a impotence problem during sex?
-Is my impotence problem during sexual intercourse a lack of confidence?

I had the same penile impotence erection problem the first few tries at sexual intercourse. I couldn't get hard because I was so nervous. I doubt that the way you masturbate would cause you not to get a penile hard on as you said you can get one.But, maybe masturbating too much before you have sexual intercourse is not good. Try to wait a week or two before sexual intercourse.

Another thing, You may have performance anxiety. A few tips on how to fet over it are on this site under the erection section. What worked for me(and my girlfriend) was taking it slow and being really sensual. We started with clothes on then we took our clothes off. I then fingered her and that made me real hard. She then sucked on my dick and then I wasn't half as nervous as before and was able to keep it up and lose my virginity. So try that just take it slow don't be all let's have sexual intercourse that's how you get nervous as you are just thinking of the act and not the feeling that you are getting.

I have masturbated in the same fashion since I was a child. And although I have had sex numerous times without issue, there has been the odd time that I have been unable to become erect without urinating first (Usually multiple times). I also have the penile erection problem that I am unable to ejaculate when I have sex with a full penile erection, the only way I can finish is with the method mentioned above. Do I know anything about it? no, does anybody else that can shed some light on this situation!

Don't drink so much beer (or other liquids) before sexual activity. Your bladder is in the same area of your genitalia organs. A full bladder may be putting pressure on these organs in some way.

I limit the amount I drink all the time, I also have a bladder problem, but I somehow thought they were connected in some way.

It may well be a sign of a serious bladder infection, infection of the urethra or other problems. Check with a urologist doctor.

Reply by: Adrian As far as male infertility problems later in life probably will not be a problem. Get a sperm count from your doctor to see how you are doing. Everyone is differant.
