Bumps on the penis shaft are one of the most common problems. In guys who have never been sexually active, there's very little problem to worry about if small bumps appear on the shaft of the penis or along the rim of the head (the corona). These small bumps are most often Fordyce glands, little sebaceous
(grease producing) glands that produce lubrication for the tender skin of the penis, to keep it from drying out and
cracking. They're NORMAL, don't cause any problem, and don't need any cure.

Hi I am 18 years old and for a couple years I have white bumps on by shaft abd toward the bottom of my penis trunk
where my scrotum (testicles) begins and it has been suggested to me that they are Penile Pearly Pauples and probably not some
disease or virus, or that they are caused by sweat when I play sports and thigs like that. I'm sensitive about
the issue and I get performance anxiety
during sexual intercourse thinking about it. I need imformation and help with this. Thanx in advance.

I would say most fellows have these small
"white bumps"
on their genitalia. I do, and I didn't and don't play sports. Or, could be
Fordyce spots.
They do seem to be where the pores in the penile skin are (by the penis hair follicles.
And yes, there can be secretions that that will make the "white bump" larger.
Once in a great while I will see one of these larger bumps, which is basically a pimple.
Unless it physically bothers you, I would not be concerned. Just in case, see a doctor to check out the white bumps.

Bumps on the penis could be Fordyces spots.
Fordyces bumps are not known to be associated with any disease or illness and are of cosmetic concern only.
They are non-infectious, their cause is unknown and a totally natural occurrence on the body.
Although a number of approaches have been tried, there is no simple, reliable treatment to remove them.
I've heard rubbing alcohol works to clear up pimples on the penis and good hygiene cleanliness practice is
conductive for maintaining a healthy penis.
Men sometimes consult with a dermatologist because they are worried they may have a sexually transmitted disease (especially genital warts) or some form of cancer, but this is not the case. But check with a dermatologist doctor or health clinic to be safe.

i have a personal question about something that has been bothering me in the past few months...
about 5-7 months ago i've noticed some little bumps around my private areas but now it's gotten a
little bit bigger and i'm starting to worry it might be some sort of sexual infections or something serious..
it's not painful or itchy, but i've tried poping it a few times and it comes out blood. i know i should've went
to get a check up long ago but i am to embarassed to even go, so this is why i'm writing to you guys instead of going in.
so if you might know or think what it could be please let me know...thanks!
