My boyfriend is experiencing burning symptoms after penile ejaculation and peeing. The head of his penis is not inflamed, or swollen it just started happening, and has happened everytime for the past few weeks. What causes the problem? Once also, he urinated after ejaculation and it was a yellow gel like substance that came out and hurts. Is it a STD? Any suggestions for treatment?

I agree with every word Tom has in his post. Also, I highly recommend that you not have sex with him until his problem is taken care of.
If he does have an infection, you MUST also see your urlogist doctor for
Medical lab testing to make sure the infection has not been transmitted to you.

Burning sensation that hurts while urinating or peeing is called dysuriaUrination - painful. Although the dysuriaUrination - painful and pain you describe at the tip of the penis.
Penis pain can be due to a urinary tract infection (UTI), urethritis (inflammation/irritation of the urethra) is usually the most likely possibility in the setting you mention.
In most cases, bacteria first begin growing in the urinary tract. An infection limited to the urinary tract is called urethritis.
Urethritis is frequently associated with a discharge, the color and consistency of which would depend on the cause of the urethritis.
Urethritis may be caused by bacteria or a virus. The same bacteria that cause urinary tract infections (E. coli) and some STD sexually transmitted diseases (chlamydia, gonorrhea) can lead to urethritis. Viral VD causes of urethritis include herpes simplex virus and cytomegalovirus.
Risks for urethritis include:
* High-risk sexual behavior (such as anal sex without a condom)
* History of sexually transmitted diseases
* Male, ages 18 - 35
* Many sexual partners
