Neither of us have an STD. We were virgins when we married 5 years ago. I've been treated by physicians for prostatitis - but it was never completely diagnosed. This was a last resort by the doctors.
It does seem that after anti-biotic treatment on me for bacteria infection, the stench goes away. It will come back though.
My wife has never been treated for any thing. We're pretty frustrated. We want to enjoy our sex life, but this odor problem keeps surfacing. I'm tired of taking antibiotics. It isn't good to continually take them for my immune system. Sooner or later, they will do no good. I'm looking for advice and to see if anyone has had this problem too. If you have had this problem, how did you cure it?
Please help. We are very frustrated and tired of going to doctors without results. Could it be some kind of penile infection or wife's vaginal infection or both?

Follow Ups:
I've been to specialists in urology in the past and they prescribed anit-biotics. Our current doctor has checked my blood and also prescribed anit-biotics (this time, Cipro for two weeks).
The stench is not from my ejaculated fluid. I have determined this. However, the next suggestion from our doctor has been to have my sperm checked for bacteria and to see another specialist.
Another part of this has been that my wife would feel pain during intercourse. This also cleared up with the anti-biotics that I took.
I hope that we can get to the bottom of this. Thank you for your comments.
Frankly, the issue of your wife having pain during love making, and then no pain when you were taking anti-biotics again makes NO sense at all. Whether or not you are taking anti-biotics should in my nonmedical opinion have any effect on whether she has any pain during intercourse.
I have taken Cipro to clear up an inflamation in my prostate, but the Cipro did nothing for me. My PSA was high before I took Cipro, and it didn't decrease after I took the Cipro.
I agree with Bindi, see another doctor. In fact both of you should see another doctor. Also, do have your sperm checked to see if there is a bacterial problem.
My Advice: - Next time before you really get into your lovin', both of you freshen up. Wash your genital areas well. Then enjoy your lovin', but no intercourse. Orally stimulate your wife's clitoris until she has an orgasm. While you stimulate her notice if there is an odor, and also note if there is an odor coming from her vagina AFTER she has an orgasm. Next, she should stimulate your penis manually until you ejaculate. Then, both of you should check to see if your ejaculate has any odor. From this "experiment" you will hopefully gain some insight into where the odor is coming from. The issue is not who is "the bad guy", but rather to help to learn how to proceed.

Out of nowhere I ended up getting a fungal infection on the head of my penis. I did use one of those fungal creams which helped, but I also noticed that it seemed to again get worse after we had intercourse. WELLLlll after a few weeks we both decided it was best for me to visit my doctor. Yep, I did have a fungal infection. He gave me some words of advice on making sure the foreskin was pulled back after a shower so that the head of the penis dried off well. He also gave me some antifungal cream and "the pill". He also highly recommended that my wife be checked by her doctor. He said that fungal infections are very often passed back and forth between husband and wife. Sure enought, my wife also had a fungal infection. She also took "the pill" (can't remember the name, but I'll check if you are interested). That pill plus making sure the head of my penis is dry after showering has done the trick. After almost a year now we have not had any problems with fungal infections.
I am interested and concerned about the situation during love making with you and your wife, so please do give me an update. Thanks.

It seems your wife needs to see the doctor and checked for Trichomoniasis parasite. Some women have signs or symptoms of infection which include a strong vaginal foul smelling odor also may cause discomfort or pain during intercourse, which she has.
Most men with trichomoniasis disease do not have signs or symptoms; however, some men may temporarily have a slight burning after urination which you have. For both men and women, a health care provider must perform a physical examination and laboratory test to diagnose trichomoniasis. The bacteria parasite is harder to detect in men than in women. In women, a pelvic examination can reveal small red ulcerations (sores) on the vaginal wall or cervix. Having trichomoniasis once does not protect a person from getting it again. Following successful treatment, people can still be susceptible to re-infection. You can cure trichomoniasis with antibiotics such as antibacterial prescription drug, Metronidazole (FLAGYL), given by mouth in a single dose. Condom use is recommend against re-infection.

Well I ordered some Viagra Rx prescription drug on the Internet.
This is the first time I buy the impotence treatment pills online and it went very well. No
prescription, low prices, discreet delivery, next day USA shipping. Why don't you give it a try!
